New and Recent Members Evening If you are new to the club and, like many of us need to make new friends and get more involved with the club. Get someone to mark a card so you can get an official handicap or simply need to find out what the Club has to offer you. Then why not come to the "New and Recent members evening" which will be held on a Tuesday in early April. For this informal evening we will meet around 5.30pm and together with some of the Rabbits Committee play 9 holes and then whilst enjoying a bowl of pie & peas, find out what the Club and the Rabbit Section can offer you. If you are interested in this event then tick the box on the competitions return sheet . Also you click on this link to contact the Rabbit Secretary Hopefully the above information gives you a feel for some of the benefits resulting from being a member of our Rabbit Section. However, the Rabbits Section Committee puts significant time and effort into improving the standing/well being of ALL Rabbits at the club, not just those who are members of the Rabbit Section. Should you choose not join the Section, the Committee will still look after your overall interests, within the Club, any way that it can. Obviously, not being a member of the Rabbits Section does not preclude you from participating in the bulk of club competitions that are played throughout the year - including Rabbit Captains Day - and being eligible to win any competition outright or the Division 2 prizes(when appropriate) which in the main are for members with handicaps of 16 and above ie Rabbits |
| Can You Help Bradley Hall Rabbits Open is widely accepted as one of the best in the Area. Many local Golf Clubs have cancelled their Rabbits Open because of lack of interest. Our Open, despite these troubled times, is still very popular. The level and variation of prizes on offer attracts players from all over the North of England. Sponsors contribute to these prizes, as well as keeping the entrance fee at a realistic level (£20 per par is well below the regional average). However the current economic climate is making it very difficult to maintain the level of sponsorship we have enjoyed over the years. Every little helps and includes a variety of benefits to the sponsor. CAN YOU HELP with attracting sponsors to contribute to our Open?. Please contact the Rabbit Captain. |
